Jammu, J&K – 16 October 2026 – A significant improvement in the access to hearing care for the underserved occurs as Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. partners with WS Audiology (WSA) to unveil the BestSound Center (BSC) 3.0 in Jammu. This initiative not only marks the expansion of WSA’s BestSound initiative but also directly addresses the hearing care needs of local communities.
To ceremonially inaugurate the center, WSA collaborated with the Suryoday Foundation to donate 150 hearing aids to 75 residents of Jammu who require assistance. This donation underscores the commitment to making hearing care accessible and emphasizes the aim to lift those who cannot afford such crucial services.

The newly launched BSC 3.0, located at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu-J&K-180004, seeks to bridge the gap in hearing healthcare, transforming clinical settings into personalized experiences. This modern facility had been meticulously researched and designed, reflecting WSA’s commitment to infuse global standards into local services.
According to the World Health Organization, nearly 63 million individuals in India suffer from significant hearing challenges. Globally, the number of those living with some form of hearing loss exceeds 1.5 billion, with projections indicating a dramatic rise to 700 million by 2050. The urgency for accessible care cannot be overstated as barriers such as societal stigma, cost, and misconceptions regarding hearing aids persist and deter individuals from seeking solutions.
Mr. Avinash Pawar, Managing Director and CEO of WSA India, expressed, “Access to hearing care shouldn’t depend on geographic location or financial capability. With BSC 3.0, we bring the same standard of care and technology that we deliver globally to the residents of Jammu & Kashmir. Our goal is to facilitate reconnections among individuals with their families, professions, and communities.”
The center features an open design that allows visitors to explore various hearing solutions without the pressures of a clinical environment. Equipped with advanced diagnostic technology and immersive sound experiences, clients can assess their needs and receive tailored solutions right from the first visit. Expert hearing care professionals assist clients throughout their journey, ensuring informed choices and continued support.

A key feature of the BestSound Center is the availability of two prominent hearing aid brands, Signia and Widex. Research shows that sound preferences vary widely among individuals, influenced not merely by demographics but personal experiences. With Signia’s innovative technology focusing on clarity in noisy environments and Widex’s emphasis on natural sound quality, the center aims to match individuals with the most suitable hearing aids for their lifestyles.
“We are thrilled to bring the BestSound Center to Jammu alongside WSA,” noted Mr. John Zargar, Managing Director and CEO of Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. “Since 2019, many residents have had to travel to larger cities for nuanced hearing care or have simply gone without. This state-of-the-art center embodies our partnership’s aspirations to reshape the perception of hearing care in our community.”
Through a thoughtful collaboration with Suryoday Foundation, the program identified 75 underprivileged individuals who received essential hearing aids, addressing the dire need for accessible hearing solutions. Each recipient benefited from professional assessments and fittings, ensuring that they remain engaged with their families and communities.
Mr. Pawar emphasized, “It is a core belief that hearing care should be available to everyone, not just to those who can afford it. With the support of Hearing Help and Suryoday Foundation, we are on a mission to assist 75 individuals in Jammu reconnect with their loved ones and the community.”
Mr. Zargar added that this engagement signifies their ongoing commitment to extended support, denoting that “Our team is dedicated to not only providing care but also raising awareness through educational drives and hearing screening camps across Jammu and beyond.”
By enhancing awareness and accessibility, WS Audiology and Hearing Help are determined to encourage the people of Jammu & Kashmir to pursue proactive measures for maintaining their hearing health. This endeavor exemplifies how timely interventions and appropriate solutions can substantially elevate the quality of life.
